Subject: Bravo! Bravo!
A flawed rendition, for sure, but: 1) it's nice to hear Pina di Roma and 2) It's nice to imagine you are at a live performance with flaws and all. This piece always sends me back to my grandparents 84 acre wooded estate on a hill in Calistoga, CA-- the smell of the pines, the birds, the grandure of the trees. I grew to love tall pine trees and later when I first heard this piece, I loved it and couldn't help by remember my childhood summers among the pines.
